How to play

Each hand, pass three cards to a neighbour, then play tricks: follow the led suit if you can, otherwise play anything. The highest card of the led suit wins the trick and leads the next.

You can't lead hearts until one has been played, and no points may be played on the first trick. Every heart taken scores 1 and the Queen of Spades scores 13 — but take all 26 and you "shoot the moon" (everyone else scores 26).

When a player reaches the target, the lowest total wins.
