How to play

Draw and discard to build melds — runs of three or more cards in one suit, or sets of the same rank. When your unmatched cards (deadwood) total 10 points or fewer you may knock to end the hand; with no deadwood at all you go gin for a bonus.

Score the deadwood difference each hand; first to 100 points wins. Knocking is allowed by default; at a table set to Straight gin it is switched off, so a hand can only end on a gin.
