How to play

Your sixteen pawns fill your two home rows. A pawn moves one square straight or diagonally forward onto an empty square, and captures only diagonally forward — moving straight ahead onto any piece is blocked. There are no jumps and no promotion.

Reach the opponent's home row with any pawn, or capture all their pawns, to win — a draw is impossible.
