How to play

Hawaiian checkers, played on a full 8×8 board of black and white stones with the two central stones removed to open play. Black moves first.

Every move is a capture: a stone jumps straight over an orthogonally adjacent enemy stone into the empty square just beyond, and the jumped stone is removed.

You may keep jumping the same stone in one turn as long as you continue in the SAME straight line — tap the stone to stop early. There are no non-jumping moves and no draws. The first player who has no jump available loses.
