How to play

Two words appear side by side. Are they the same word, or different? A different twin has one letter swapped for a look-alike, two letters swapped round, or one letter missing. Tap Same or Different.

Answer wrongly and the pair stays for a moment with the two letters that differ shown underneath. Twenty pairs, growing longer as you go; late on, the different twin is a real word too. Your score is the number of pairs you told apart.

When your device has a voice for the language, tap either word to hear it — a twin that is not a real word is read as it is spelled.
