Crokinole
How to play
Place a disc on your baseline, then pull back from it and let go to flick it forward, toward the centre. The recessed middle scores 20, then 15, 10 and 5 out from there; eight pegs guard the middle. A disc touching a ring line scores the lower ring.
A disc that crosses the outer line drops into the ditch and is out. If your rival has a disc on the board, your shot must hit one of them, directly or by knocking one of your own discs into it; the rival discs are ringed.
If your rival has no disc on the board, your disc must stop fully inside the 15 ring or drop into the 20-hole; the 15 ring glows.
A shot that breaks either rule is a foul: your disc comes off, with any of your own discs it moved, and it scores nothing even in the 20-hole. A disc that drops into the 20-hole scores 20 at once; discs that come off wait in the ditch.
When all 24 discs are played, the most points wins.
