How to play

The whole deck is dealt out and ranks are announced in an ascending cycle — Ace, 2, 3, … King, Ace — starting with the player left of the dealer.

On your turn you MUST play one to four cards FACE-DOWN onto the pile and claim they are the announced rank, whether or not that's true. After every play the other players get a moment to shout CHEAT!

If someone does, the cards are revealed: a liar picks up the whole pile, but a false accusation hands the pile to the challenger — then the cycle continues with the next rank and the next player.

Going out takes nerve: your last play must survive its challenge window. The first player to shed every card wins.
